About MOFAS
Malaysian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (MOFAS) is a dedicated sub-society under the Malaysian Orthopaedic Association (MOA), established to advance the knowledge, practice, and development of foot and ankle orthopaedics in Malaysia and the region.
MOFAS unites orthopaedic surgeons with a shared interest in foot and ankle surgery to foster collaboration, research, continuing education, and clinical excellence. Our society aims to be a centre of reference and leadership in this subspecialty by promoting best practices, sharing innovations, and nurturing the next generation of foot and ankle specialists.

Tracing MOFAS’ journey from its humble beginnings to becoming a leader in foot and ankle orthopaedic care.
MOFAS was formed under the umbrella of MOA to focus on the growing demand and complexity of foot and ankle conditions. Since its inception, the society has organised numerous CME programs, surgical workshops, fellowships, and conferences, attracting participation from across Malaysia and neighbouring countries.
